Why Can't I seem to feel safe in this world?

God's Response

I look up to the mountains - does my help come from there? My Help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the One who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, He who watches over Israel never slumber or sleeps.

Our Takeaway

These verses from the book of Psalms express assurance, hope, and confidence in God's protection day and night. You should never trust a lesser power than God himself. Because He is your creator, He watches over you, as He does all of His creation. Nothing can divert His attention or distract Him or deter Him from caring for you. You can never outgrow your need for God's untiring watch over your life. In Him, you are safe.
