Sometimes I feel so left out. Does God even notice that I'm here?

God's Response
[Mary] turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didn't recognize Him.
"Dear woman, why are you crying?" Jesus asked her. "Who are you looking for?"
She thought he was the gardener. "Sir," she said, "if you have taken Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and i will go and get Him."
"Mary!" Jesus said. She turned to Him and cried out, "Rabboni!" (which is Hebrew for "Teacher").
John 20:14-16

[Moses] said to the Lord,] "Your have told e, 'I know you by name and i look favorable on you.'"
Exodus 33:12

Our Takeaway
Mary didn't recognize Jesus at first. Perhaps her grief had blinded her; she couldn't see Him because she didn't expect to see Him. Then He spoke her name, and immediately she knew who he was. Imagine the love that flooded her heart when she heard her Savior say her name.

Jesus is always near you, and He knows you by name. If you recognize Him as your Lord, he has called you by name. You will never be beyond His notice.
